Stacy Hecker
After initially being his client, Ms. Hecker began working for William C. Planta in 2008. Through our years of association and experience, Ms. Hecker has assisted the attorneys and our clients using her training, listening skills and humor to facilitate the challenging process of their criminal and family law cases.
Wendy Satin
A graduate of Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law, Ms. Satin has been practicing law in Maryland since 1991, concentrating in the areas of criminal defense and family law.
William Planta
Mr. Planta is a principal partner of Planta &Satin, LLC and has focused his career in the private practice of family law and domestic relations matters since his graduation from the George Washington University Law School, in 1997. He represents clients in the negotiation and preparation of separation and property settlement agreements, ante-nuptial agreements, and post-nuptial agreements. Mr. Planta also has extensive experience in the litigation of domestic relations matters including: grounds for divorce, legal and residential custody, access and visitation, child support, alimony, valuation and equitable division of marital property, monetary awards, attorney fees, enforcement of Agreement, civil contempt, domestic violence, and post-judgment matters and modifications of existing judgments. Mr. Planta, in his fifteen years as a family law attorney, has also has accumulated significant experience in alternate dispute resolution models such as mediation and collaborative law and has been accept the Court as an expert in the field of family law and the legal fees and costs associated with family law matters. Mr. Planta is a Facilitator for the Family Division of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland and is appointed by the Bench and his peers as Best Interest Attorney and Child Advocate to represent children who are the subject of custody divorce/custody proceedings.
